Customary ritual to honour Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi

The customary ritual of Ceylon Electricity Board to ask for blessings on Sri Lanka and its people by honoring Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi through a pen pooja, with the water collected from the 12 main reservoirs used for hydro-electricity generation, was held on the morning of 18th May 2018 at Anuradhapura Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi premises with the participation of Hon Minister of Power and Renewable Energy Ranjith Siyambalapitiya.
The Chairman of Ceylon Electricity Board Mr. W. B. Ganegala, General Manager of Ceylon Electricity Board Eng. A K. Samarasinghe, Additional General Managers, Deputy General Managers of Laxapana, Mahaweli, Samanala and Kelanithissa complexes, Deputy General Manager (North Central Province) and many CEB officials participated in the ritual.
