CEB held its annual “Long Service Awards” ceremony on the 7th September 2015 to felicitate CEB staff members who have served in the organization for over 30 years. It was a memorable occasion for all the CEB employees who have contributed the better part of their lives to illuminate the lives of Sri Lankans to be honored in front of their family members at the BMICH.
The Gold Medals pertaining to the year 2015 were awarded by Hon Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, the Minister of Power and Renewable Energy. The long service awards for 2014 were given by Hon Patalie Champika Ranawaka, the former Minister of Power & Energy. 280 staff members received awards for 2014 and 480 staff members received awards for 2015.
Eng. Anura Wijayapala, Chairman CEB, Eng. Nihal Wickramasuriya, Vice Chairman CEB, Eng. M.C. Wickramasekara, the General Manager CEB and a large number of family members of award winners were present at this memorable occasion.
